Some things to consider…

1) This is a bar. There will chatter, light pollution, bands playing in other rooms…etc. We deal with the elements as they come. So something like Andrei Rublev wouldn’t be given the proper justice it deserves being screened at Churchill’s (but hey, if someone really wanted to see it there, I’d try to make it work!)

2) I’m not showing any gratuitous, extreme shit. No Cannibal Holocaust, Faces of Death, Irreversible, Salo, etc. Nothing with explicit rape. No one wants to see that.

3) Given the environment + the sake of viewer retention, I try not to screen anything that is more than 2 hours.
